Apptronik Raises $935 Million at a $5.3 Billion Valuation

Apptronik is a premier robotics company dedicated to building the next generation of general-purpose humanoid robots designed to work alongside humans. Apptronik has raised $935 million in its Series A funding round, bringing its post-money valuation to approximately $5.3 billion. The round saw significant participation from B Capital, Google, Mercedes-Benz, and PEAK6, alongside AT&T Ventures, John Deere & Co., and the Qatar Investment Authority.

Apptronik, headquartered in Austin, Texas, United States, was founded in 2016 by Jeffrey Cardenas, Nicholas Paine, and Bill Helmsing. In 2025, the company joined the unicorn club. "We're transforming work flows, reimagining factory floors and writing a new chapter for next-generation humanoid robots that are designed and built to drive meaningful societal progress," said Jeffrey Cardenas, co-founder and CEO of Apptronik.
